We are sorry for your loss.
We lived on McKinley Avenue in Clarksville, from 1945 to 1957, not far from the Baird Ice Cream plant, and Schuler, Phil, and Randall's home. We knew them well.
We especially enjoyed going to Schuler's Clarksville and New Albany Drive-In Theatres. I can still hear the theme song "Moonlight Serenade".
Phil purchased a 1946 Ford from me, took off the fenders and turned it into a street rod! Life was good, back in the day.
We moved to the Cleveland, Ohio area in 1962, and lost touch with most of our neighbors and school friends. Today, with Facebook, I doubt that that could happen.
We hope that all in your family are doing well. It is always a shock when one learns of the death of an old friend.

Please accept my sincere condolences in this time of grief. My wish is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 3, 4).
