Lester LaPrell "Buddy" Brooks

Lester LaPrell "Buddy" Brooks, 73, died Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Alford Florida, and was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Louisville. He was a member of American Legion Post 35, Jeffersonville. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Lavell Brooks and his mother, Olga Gussie Snellgrove.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Walters Brooks, five daughters, Leslie Brooks of Rockford, TN, Cindy James (Chris) of Louisville, Lisa Price (and son-in-law John Jay Price) of Jeffersonville,  Joanie Fanning (Tommy) of Borden, IN., and Paula Uphold (Mike) of Clarksville, and one sister, Geraldine Ward (James) of Tallahassee FL., 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville.
