Christopher Arron Wood

Christopher Arron Wood, 18, died Friday, November 18, 2016. He was born in Louisville, and was a Senior at Charlestown High School. He was a member of the Charlestown High School Band and the Theater Department. He was a brown belt at the Charlestown Shotokan Karate-Do, and a member of the First Baptist Church of New Albany.

Survivors include his father, Pat (Leanna) Wood of Charlestown, his mother, Lydia (David) Edwards of Clarksville, three brothers, Stephen Wood (Sarah) of Jeffersonville, Jordon Wood of Charlestown, and Matthew Edwards of Clarksville, his sister Hailee Wood of Charlestown, his grandparents, Virginia Wood of Clarksville, and Jim and Nancy Winstead of Georgetown.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of New Albany, 813 East Spring Street,  New Albany.  with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville, and from 10:00 A.M. Tuesday,  until the time of the service at the church.  Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Charlestown High School Marching Band.
