Candice Sue (Whitson) Wood

Candy Wood, 68, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Greenville, KY and was a member of Harrison Ave. United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, David Wood, a son, David E. Wood (Becky) of Clarksville, two daughters, Debbie Drury (Floyd) of Charlestown and Michelle Wininger (Ron) of Sellersburg, five grandchildren, Timmy Hall, Emily Hall, Meagan Wood, Sammy Rhoton, and Sydney Wood, a greatgrandson, Braxton Sparrow, two brothers, Bobby Whitson (Joyce) of Jeffersonville and Marty Milby (PD) of New Albany.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, January 14 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Friday and from 9:00 until the time of the service on Saturday.
