Bettye Verne Graham, 89, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in
Carlisle, KY., and was a former employee of Walnut Ridge Nursery.
A memorial service honoring the lives of Bettye and her husband, Dale Graham, who preceded her in death on March 5, 2015, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville. Interment of ashes at Fairview Cemetery will be private.
They are survived by a daughter Patricia (Eddie) Spainhour of Charlestown, two sons, Dale (Judy) Graham of Trufant, MI, and Gary Graham of Jeffersonville, 4 grandchildren, Jenni Moore, Todd (Laura) Graham, Brett (Debbi) Graham and Lindsey (Anees) Shafi , two great grandchildren, Kirk Moore (Shannon) and Bailey Moore.
In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Floyd Co. Animal Shelter, 215 W. Market St., New Albany, IN. 47150 . Online condolences at www.chapmanfuneralhome.net
