William Arline Young

William Arline Young, 97, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Diversicare of Providence New Albany. He was born in Hart Co., Ky., and was a retired Tool Repair man for Ford Motor Company.

He was a volunteer tax preparer for 26 years, a member of Colgate Baptist Church, American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville and an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife Anna M. Dora Young.

Survivors include two sons, William Alan Young (Charlotte) of Clarksville, and Michael Young (Katrina) of New Albany, a daughter, Linda D. Money of Clarksville, 9 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home with Entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:00 until the time of the service on Saturday. Committal services at the cemetery will be private at request of the family.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Colgate Baptist Church.
