Wanda Van Meter Obituary

Wanda L. Ramey Van Meter, 88, died Monday, May 20, 2019 at Westminster Health Care in Clarksville. She was born in Louisville and was a retired supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau. She was a member of Howard Park Christian Church in Clarksville. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Ramey and Ken Van Meter, a son Delmon Wayne Meyer, and a daughter, Marlene Meyer.

Survivors include two daughters, Diana Barnes (Dennis) of Arizona and Jo Nell Gwin (Sam) of New Albany, grandchildren, Amy Meyer, Ali Meyer, Andrew Meyer, Allison Schneider (Jeff), Alex Gwin, Christopher Lyon and Bryan Barnes, four great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in South Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. Online condolences at www.chapmanfuneralhome.net
