Steven Tyler Obituary
Steven A. Tyler, 72, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. Steve was born on September 24, 1949, in Butler County, KY., and was a 1967 graduate of Clarksville High School in Clarksville, Indiana. Steve worked as a Train Engineer and a Conductor with Illinois Central Railroad, Paducah & Louisville Railroad, and Louisville & Indiana Railroad where he retired. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church and helped with the new church start-up of New Song Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville, In., with burial to follow at Little Muddy Cemetery in Morgantown, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 Pm on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Wilson, his brother, Robert Bales, and his sister, Diana (Tyler) Workman.
He is survived by his father, William Tyler (Colleen), brothers, Tom Bales (Missie), John Tyler (April) and Tim Tyler (Ann).
