Stephanie Renee (Laird) Shelton

Stephanie Renee Shelton, 46, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit at Norton Medical Pavilion in Louisville surrounded by her family. She was born in Corpus Christie, TX and was a Corrections Officer for the Floyd County Community Corrections.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Shelton, a daughter Gina Renee Welby (Jason) of Louisville, a son, Ronald Shelton II of New Salisbury, her mother, Theresa Barnett of Victoria, TX., her father Joe Laird of New Albany, two brothers, James Laird (Terrie) of Douglasville, GA., and Jeremy Laird (Sarah) of Sellersburg, four grandchildren, Madison Matherly, Gwen Matherly, Amelia Welby and Lilly Welby.

Cremation was chosen per her request. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 on Saturday. Online condolences at www.chapmanfuneralhome.net
