Shirley Temple (Polston) Smith

Shirley Temple Smith, 82, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Columbia, Kentucky, and was a loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Russel Smith.

Survivors include her sons, David Smith (Jennifer) of Jeffersonville and Ricky Smith (Rosemarie) of Louisville, her siblings, Jean Hagy of Louisville, Geneva David of Indianapolis, Virginia Wood of Clarksville, Dallas Polston of New Albany, Donna Jessie of Columbia, KY., and Phillip Polston (Pat) of Sellersburg, 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 on Sunday, and from 9:00 until the time of the service on Monday.
