Ruth Corinne (Browning) Overton

Ruth Corinne Overton, 83, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd surrounded by her family. She was born in McKenzie, Tennessee and was a retired assembly worker for ICI Americas. She was a member of Colgate Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Dale Overton, and her parents, Finis and Lottie McDonald Browning.

Survivors include her daughter, Freda Setters (Dana) of Clarksville, a son, Stan Overton of Clarksville, her sister, Norma Overton of New Albany, IN., grandchildren, Jeremy Overton (Sheryl) of Clarksville, Nick Overton of Clarksville, Andrew Setters of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and Wendy Tabor (Brian) of Jeffersonville, KY, and a great-grandson Ian Overton.

Cremation was chosen per her request, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25 at 2:00 P.M. to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 W. Harrison Ave., Clarksville. Visitation on Thursday will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
