Ron Allen passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by hard work, independence, and a deep love for the simple things.
He is survived by his loving life companion, Susan Turner; his sister, Patty Barrera; his daughter, Kristian Allen; and his cherished grandchildren, Donovin, Carter, and Teigan.
Ron proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran. He went on to spend many years as a dedicated truck driver, earning his place in the Million Mile Club, a testament to his commitment and strong work ethic. He was also a talented small engine repairman, known for being able to fix just about anything and never afraid to get his hands dirty.
At heart, Ron was an old-country kind of man. He loved being outdoors and built a life around it gardening, tending to his chickens, harvesting honey from his bees, and planting fruit trees. He found joy in creating a small, self-sufficient homestead and took pride in the life he built with his own hands.
Ron was a proud American, a hard worker, and, by nature, a bit stubborn, but that same stubbornness was part of what made him strong, dependable, and deeply rooted in who he was. He will be remembered for his resilience, his skills, and the quiet, steady life he lived.
In accordance with the family's wishes, all services will be private.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave, Clarksville, Indiana 47129
