Robert Junior Nelson

Robert Junior Nelson,aka "JR" ,62, died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his home. He was born in Clarkson, KY to Robert & Bernice Nelson on 08/25/57. He worked as a Union Laborer for Local 576 for 32 years. He will be remembered for his smile, his laugh and sense of humor. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Sidney Brooks and Ronald Nelson.

He is survived by a son, Michael Nelson (Falon Hook) of Elizabeth, a daughter, Miranda Nelson (Dalton Edwards) of Elizabeth, his life  partner, Donna Nelson, a brother, Steven Nelson, sister, Tammy Joyce, six grandchildren,Josh Nelson, James Tarrance, Natalie, Hailey, Taylor and Meadow Nelson, two step-grandchildren, Andrea Green and Katie Edwards.

With the current Covid-19 restrictions, cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date and details will be published when available.
