On August 7 family and friends lost Richard (Dickie) Lewis, 74 of Clarksville. He was a good man who never met a stranger. His life work was as a truck driver. He worked for C.I. Witten, RDH, and as of late the Off Track Betting in Clarksville. He was the owner of P & D Auto Electric, and P & D Wrecker Service. He was a member of the Clarksville Town Council for four years. Dickie loved life and enjoyed fishing anytime he got the chance to go.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Jenks Lewis, his parents Norman E. and Opal Gayheart Lewis , and his grandmother Nellie H. Lewis who raised him.
He leaves behind his sons, Richard (Rowdy) Lewis and his favorite daughter in law, Barbara. His son Norman Lewis and a grand daughter Holly Lewis. He also leaves behind his loving companion Alice and his furry love Baby.
Cremation was chosen per his request. A service celebrating and honoring his life will be held at a later date. Online condolences at www.chapmanfuneralhome.net
