Phillip Wayne Raisor, age 75, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his residence. Phillip was born in La Grange, Kentucky on September 27, 1949, to the late Charles C. and Lizzie Mae Poole Raisor. He was a retired automotive specialist who was known for his passion for cars. Phillip enjoyed attending auto auctions and purchasing vehicles then restoring them to their original condition. He enjoyed antiquing and fishing. He was called “The Euchre and Yahtzee King”. He would host Cribbage and Euchre games for his friends that lasted until the early morning hours.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Dixon; two sons, David Dixon, and Kenny Dixon; and his sister, Sheila Mae Bartle.
Phillip is survived by his children, Wayne Raisor, Kelly Greer, Tammy Arbuckle, Theresa Popp, Tom Mingle, and Charles Dixon; his grandchildren, Jonathan Dixon, Joshua Dixon, Jesse Dixon, Alex Arbuckle, Andrew Arbuckle, Whitney Raisor, Lindsey Dixon, Blake Dixon, Bradley Dixon, Bethany Dixon, Brianna French, Phillip Raisor III, Jesse James Raisor, and Xander Raisor; eight great-grandchildren; his siblings, Reuben Raisor, Gary Raisor, Chuck Raisor, Dean Raisor, and Sharon Raisor.
Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of life will be held on December 28, 2024 at Clarksville Community Center, 2311 Sam Gwin Drive, Clarksville, Indiana. Friends may visit from 2-5 p.m.
