Pauline J. (Jackson) Robison

Pauline J.  Robison, 100, died Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Clark County, Indiana on October 6th 1919. She graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1937. Pauline Jackson was married to James B. Robison on 12/24/1937, they were married 29 years before his death in 1967.

Pauline worked as a buyer and manager for Keller Hardware and Gifts (later became Moneypenny Hardware) in Youngstown Shopping Center in Jeffersonville for 20 years. She loved cats, vacationing with family, strawberry ice cream, and growing roses and tomatoes. She was a member and very active with Howard Park Christian Church in Clarksville, and the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Cleona Jackson of Jeffersonville, her husband, James B. Robison, her son, James C. Robison, and her daughter Martha (Robison) Tate.

Survivors include two grandsons, Robert J. Turberville (Christie) of Brooks, KY., and Paul D. Eaton (Michelle Branham) of Jeffersonville, four great-grandchildren, Emma Eaton, Grant Turbeville, Gabbie Turbeville and Ashleigh Eaton, her son-in-law Danny Tate and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 8, at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville,  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday. Visitation will be open to the public with 25 visitors allowed at a time as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed according to CDC recommendations. Face coverings are encouraged.
