Patricia Louise (Knowland) Knight

Patricia Knowland Knight of Clarksville  passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Autumn Woods Health Campus surrounded by her family. She was born in Clarksville, and was  retired from the Town of Clarksville where she worked for 36 years. She was a charter member of the Clarksville Historical Society, a member of the Ann Rogers Clark chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the United States Daughters of 1812. She was a graduate of Jeffersonville High "Class of 52" and a member of Ohio Fall United Methodist Church. 

She was born July 27, 1934 in Clarksville to the late Louis and Elva (Sommerville) Knowland. She was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Knowland Perry and her husband James R. Knight

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Burke and Janice Gross (Phillip) both of Louisville, two sons, Jeffrey Burke of Clarksville and James L. Knight (Debbie) of Henryville, three grandsons, two granddaughters and one great grandson.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 1, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to Ohio Falls UMC.
