Noah Alan Maddox, a 17-year-old football star, grandson, son, brother, and friend to many passed away from an unfortunate tragedy on April 25, 2025.
Noah was a beautiful soul who was never afraid to greet a stranger. He was a bright and shining star for those who got the privilege of knowing him. Noah’s passing has affected so many who cared and loved him, but he wouldn’t want us to dwell on the past, he would want us all to look at the potential for the future. We ask that you not remember him from this sad moment, but instead to remember all of the good memories that many of you have made with him.
Noah loved so many things in life, and never ever took them for granted. Noah has always wanted to be a professional football player since he began playing football, but that is only one of many things he loved and strived for. He loved thrifting, vinyls, vintage clothes, music, family, friends, helping the homeless, and most importantly God. Noah was never afraid to spread his faith to others or speak the word of God to whomever would listen. Noah’s faith in God was so strong, that no one person could even try to persuade him of anything otherwise.
Those who knew Noah, will remember his infectious smile and laughter, his deep-rooted faith, and his commitment to spread love and kindness to all who were around him. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all of those who crossed paths with him.
Even though Noah’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing to all, and may we carry his legacy of love, compassion, and faith in all that we do. As you continue to worship Jesus in heaven, Noah, your light will forever shine so bright.
Visitation for Noah will be on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. followed by his funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. All services will be conducted at Northside Christian Church, 4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Burial will be at Edwardsville Cemetery, in Georgetown, Indiana.
Chapman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
