Nell E (Wilson) Clemons

Nell E. Clemons, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany. Nell was a retired daycare worker at Morton Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of Colgate Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon H. Clemons, her parents, Jimmy and Elizabeth Wilson, and two granddaughters, Tyra Lynn Miller and Julie Michelle Clemons, four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Bell (William) of Crestwood, Ky., a son, Ron Clemons (Linda) of Clarksville, a grandson, William Jordan Bell (Emily) and two great-grandsons, Kyle and Trevor Bell, and a sister, Ruby Byrd (Joe) of Columbus, IN.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 18, at 11:30 AM at Chapman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be on Friday, December 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
