Michael Jonathan Borton

Michael Borton, age, 77, of New Salisbury, passed away at 11:43 p.m. on Sunday, August 31,2025 at his Residence in New Salisbury, IN. 

He was born on June 21,1948 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Johnathan Borton and Betty Cook. 

He was a proud US Army veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Michael worked for many years as a truck driver before retiring from Donnie Mills Trucking and Davis Trucking. He also loved cars and racing. His special garage became a second home, where he worked as a skilled mechanic repairing vehicles for his friends and family. Michael loved his pets dearly, treating them as part of his family.  

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Borton and his son, Michael G. Borton (Holly) of Sellersburg, daughter, Susan Borton of Lockport, NY.; grandchildren, Kayla Borton, Emily Fleace, Jonathon Borton, Kymberlyn Randle, and Avary Childs, Ivan Borton,; great-grandchildren, Colson Borton and Shilynn Randle. He is also survived by a special family friend, Tracy Borton.  

Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
