Mary Jeanette (Young) Johnson

Mary Jeanette Johnson, 101, passed away on Wednesday, August 04, 2021 at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon. She was born in Louisville, KY., and was a retired secretary for the Jefferson County Board of Education. She was also a professional singer. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. Elliott, her parents, Myles J. and Margaret Young, two sisters, Margie Bayer and Ruth Fullen. 

She is survived by her son, Robin Elliott (Debbie) of Clarksville, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, August 09, 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Louisville. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
