Mark Anthony "Tony" Mulligan, 59, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville. He was born in Louisville. Tony was a nationally acclaimed artist who found inspiration on his many long TARC bus tours. He loved telling jokes and stories, and he loved to eat. He loved God and loved singing. He was known and loved all over Kentuckiana. As expressed by one of his many friends, "The world needs more people like him."
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Edward Mulligan Sr. and Lucille Ethelda Gowdy, and two sisters, Shirley A. Badon and Sharon E. Breckinridge.
Survivors include his siblings, Betty Dickerson of Clarksville, Janice Lee Freeman of Jeffersonville, Lee Edward Mulligan Jr. of Louisville and Angela M. Robinson (William Curtis) of San Diego, CA., and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen per his request.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 03, 2022 at the Calvary Apostolic Church, 621 Mechanic Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 at the church prior to the service.
