Lucille (Allen) Lynch

Lucille Lynch of Clarksville, IN. died peacefully on Wednesday, December 02, 2020 at Autumn Woods Health Campus. Lucille was a simple and faithful follower of Jesus and a contented homemaker. Lucille was born in Meredian, MS. to Robert Lee Allen and Eva Ruth Shadoan Allen on November 16, 1930. After a move she spent much of her young life in Somerset, KY. She was married to Joseph L. Lynch until widowed in 1998. Lucille was a mother to her only child, David L. Lynch of Henryville, IN. and mother-in-law to Lori Lynch, grandmother to six: Whitney Bougher (Willis) of Scottsburg, IN., Alex Lynch of Memphis, IN., Joshua Lynch (Lauren) of Chattanooga, TN., Eliza Lynch, Ethan Lynch, and Timothy Lynch all of Henryville, IN., as well as a great-grandmother to four. Lucille was preceded in death by a brother Robert Allen Jr. and a sister Anna Margaret Hall, she is survived by a sister Beverly Morris of Science Hill, KY.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Colgate Baptist Church, 125 E. Montgomery Ave., Clarksville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 until the time of the service at the church.
