Lois Geneva (Jennings) Burks

Lois Geneva Burks, 89, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Rolling Hills Health Care in New Albany. She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Godfrey and Purnie Anderson Jennings, and her husband Oddas T. Burks.

Survivors include two nephews, Lester Strode of Elizabeth, IN., and Dale Strode of Corydon, three great nephews, Chris Strode (Michelle) of Louisville, Cory Strode (Melanie) of Ramsey and Aaron Strode (Brittney) of Elizabeth.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 5th at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 1:00 on Tuesday. Online condolences at www.chapmanfuneralhome.net
