Logan Matthew “Logs” Light, age 32, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. at his residence.
He was born on August 25, 1992, in New Albany, Indiana, to Bobby Matthew Light and Amy Marie Ginkins. A 2011 graduate of Henryville High School, Logan was a gifted artist and talented drummer who found deep joy and expression through music. He also loved golf and baseball, and his passion for life shone through everything he did.
He was preceeded in death by maternal grandparents Garry L Ginkins, and Virginia Ginkins McKee.
Logan was known for his kind heart, creative spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He is survived by his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Theresa Light; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly and will miss him deeply.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 7:30 p.m., at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana 47129.
Logan will be remembered with love for his artistic soul, his musical talent, and the light he brought into the lives of those around him.
