Linda J. (Oberting) Smith

Linda J. Smith, 69, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Kindred Hospital, Louisville. She was born in Indianapolis, IN., and was an administrative assistant for Baylor Intermodal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Lorraine Kepner Oberting.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin Smith, two daughters, Heather Smith and Amber Smith both of Greenville, two sisters, Carol Bright of Florida and Debbie Robbins (Kyle) of Noblesville, IN., a brother, Allen Oberting of Indianapolis, and a grandchild, Josie Graham of Greenville.

Cremation was chosen per Linda's request. Chapman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements.
