Linda Jean (Wallingford) Gentry

Linda Jean Gentry, 76, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. she was born in Jeffersonville and was a retired nurse manager for South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clellon and Betty Hawn Wallingford.

Survivors include her husband, David Gentry, a son, David Scott Gentry (Dianne) of Louisville, a daughter, Holly Lynn Graham (Ryan) of Sellersburg, two sisters, Janet Underhill of Clarksville and Charlotte Doss of New Albany and five grandsons, David Mason Gentry, Easton Kenneth Gentry, Carter Gentry, Kaden Ford Kirby and Preston Graham.

Cremation was chosen per her request. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave., Clarksville, Indiana 47129.
