Les James Ackerman, 54, died Monday April 11, 2016 at his home. He was born in Detroit, MI., and was a self employed sub-contractor.
Survivors include his mother, Cheri King of Henryville, IN., two daugters, Tiffany Huff (William) of Jeffersonville, Brittany Bullock (Scott Curts) of Clarksville, two sisters, Paige Anne Cope of Henryville and Robin Fenske of Yakima, WA., a brother Layne Thomas Cope of Palmyra, and 5 grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen per his request. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Details will be published when available.
