Larry Alan Tate

Larry Alan Tate, age 73, of New Albany, IN passed away on June 3, 2024.  Larry was born in Jeffersonville, IN on November 9, 1950, to the late Leo D. and Shirley R. Inman Tate. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a past member of the VFW and was a retired equine trainers assistant for many years.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Gina Heydorf of Florida; grandchildren, Shane Heydorf; Alex Heydorf, Kayla Padgett, and siblings, Danny Tate, Linda Downs (Bill), Dennis Tate, Vicki Lacy (Terry) and Lisa Rader (Mike); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave, Clarksville, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.

Larry will be laid to rest at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN.
