Judith Ann (Mattingly) Slone

Judith Ann Slone, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Louisville and was a retired sewer for the Louisville Bedding Company.

Judy was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Judy had a heart of gold and never knew a stranger.  She was a selfless angel that treated everyone with love and kindness. She will be truly missed by all the knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Elizabeth Clifford Mattingly.

Survivors include her sons, Allen Slone (Lisa) of Eckerty, IN., Tony McClanahan of Clarksville, six grandchildren, Allen Slone Jr., Kristina Cranmer, Chery Johnson, Mathew McClanahan, Tony Allen McClanahan, and Brent Bogs, 12 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jerry Matingly of Clarksville, a sister, Sandy McDougal (Steve) of Louisville, two nephews, Terry and Mike Burkhead and her companion Adam Reiff.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on  Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home. A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday.
