Joyce M Ross

Joyce M. Ross, age 74, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 1:47 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on September 27, 1950 in Flint, Michigan, to the late John Miller and Blanch (Turner) Miller. 

Joyce was a dedicated and hardworking woman who devoted her life to her family. She retired as a supervisor for Kroger after many years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, crafting and bowling-hobbies that reflected her creativity and love for her family. 

She is survived by her children, Tracy Lee Coulter and Jimmy Wayne Elder Jr.; and her grandchildren, Joshua L Coulterson, Branden W Sly, Samantha J. Goode,  Alex Taylor Desirae M Elder, Billy R Elder, Jason A Partridge, Justin E Partridge, Emma K Partridge, and Savannah J Elder; and 6 great grandchildren all of which who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Elmer Ross, a daughter, Donna Jean Taylor and her siblings, Johnny Miller, Don Miller, Bobby Miller and Betty Harris.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
