Joseph Raisor Obituary

Joseph Earl Raisor, 70, died Friday, November 29, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. He was born in Jeffersonville, and was a retired truck driver for Whitten Trucking, David Hood and the Coca-Cola Company. He was a member of  Masonic Lodge 340 in Jeffersonville. Joey had a love of motorcycles and riding with his son.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Edward Raisor and Marie Dellinger Hetrich, a brother Michael Raisor and a nephew Sherman Simpson Jr.

Survivors include his son Nathan Combs (Jessica) of Charlestown, four sisters, Peggy Lee of Clarksville, B.J. Jaggers of Clarksville, Amy Raisor of Clarksville, and Julie Taylor of Louisville, four grandchildren, Hayden Combs, Jacob Combs, Carter Getz and Kelsey Burns and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 5. 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home with interment of ashes to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 on Thursday at the funeral home.
