John Alan Foley Jr.

John Alan Foley Jr, age 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. John was born on October 18, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late John Alan Foley Sr. and Georgia Ann (Whipple) Foley.

John was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran. Retired artist and antique dealer. He was known to his family and friends for his sharp wit, quick humor and kind spirit.

He is survived by his life partner for 44 years, Angela Case; Nieces, Jean Gibson, Holly Sorrell, Debbie Laney (Jim), Kim Polston (Butch), Karen Lindle (Brian) Susan Rowe Kathy Harmon (Steve), and Becky Hughes (John-Paul); Nephews, Robb Sorrell, Steve Lindle (Leslie) Brian Smith and Matthew Smith (Tanya),; great-nieces, Catie Sorrell, Rosie Sorrell, Jennifer Etherton, Emma Lindle, Catlin Blackford, Jessica Nevitt, Rachael Hughes, Emily Hughes,; great-nephews, Michael Polston,  Scott Gibson, Tyler Roderick, Danny Laney, Sam Lindle, Devin Rowe, Christian Hughes, Kameron Hughes and Michael Lindle; brother in law, Mike Smith; 

Cremation has been chosen, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana 47129
