Joan Catherine (Graninger) Oehmann

Joan Graninger Oehmann, 89, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Knox, KY. and was a retired cafeteria manager for St. Anthony Schools. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Sid" Oehmann, her parents, John and Vada Adams Graninger, two sons, Dennis Oehmann and Danny Oehmann and a grandson, J.R. Cartrette.

Survivors include two daughters, Dana Heath (David) of New Albany, Denise Eichstaedt (Jim) of New Smyrna Beach, FL., a son David Oehmann (Linda) of Corydon, IN., a daughter-in-law, Lisa Oehmann of Ramsey, IN., a sister, Sharon Edwards of Greenville, IN., twelve grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M on Monday, May 03, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Clarksville, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M on Sunday at Chapman Funeral Home and from 12:00 to the time of the service Monday at the church. Expressions of Sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul food panty at St. Anthony Church.
