Janet Ellen (Wagner) Reid

Janet Ellen Reid, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away at 11:17 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Sellersburg Healthcare. She was born on October 22, 1943, to the late Wayne Wagner and Helen Wagner.

Janet was a member of Howard Park Christian Church and was a retired teacher from Saint Rita Catholic School. She was a graduate of Indiana State University. Janet enjoyed cheering on the IU Hoosiers, crossword puzzles, shopping until the stores closed, traveling, reading books, spending time with her family, and butterflies.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Victoria Keown, Hannah Reid, Felicity Phillips, Na’Tasha Phillips, and Nathaniel Phillips; and her great-grandchildren, Khloe Vest, Ryker Wright, Cooper Keown, Na’Thena Phillips, Jahzara Phillips, and Nikolas Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Meghan Reid.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. with her funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Services will be held at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, IN 47129
