James Edward Worthington

James Edward Worthington, 70, passed  away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Wedgewood Healthcare. He was born in Jeffersonville and was a retired service member with 24 years of service in the United States Navy. He was a member of Jeffersonville VFW Post 1832 and a member of the Southern Indiana Flying Eagles.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Broughton Worthington, two daughters, Rhesa Nelson (Peder) of Sellersburg and Madeleine Cojocar (Henry) of Rose City, Michigan, a brother Steven Worthington (Maria) of Jeffersonville, a sister Michelle Simmons of Clarksvile, six grandchildren, Bryce Miller, Xander Miller, Tidus Miller Logan Miller, Dante Cojocar and Davin Nelson.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 15th at the New Albany American Legion Post 28, 1930 McDonald Lane, New Albany Indiana.
