James Michael "Jimmy" Haggard

James Michael "Jimmy" Haggard, 76, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky and was a maintenance supervisor for Greyhound Lines Inc. for 47 years. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff Haggard and Leona Rivery Hawkins.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mickie Stymest Haggard, two daughters, Tammy Meade (Rip) of Nashville, TN., and Shannon Shields (Jason) of Sellersburg, a son, Jamie Haggard (Amanda) of Powder Springs, GA., four grandchildren, Hunter, Jamison, Jacie and Braxton, a sister Carol Schmitt (David) of Kalamazoo, MI., and a brother Robert Haggard (Jerry) of Sellersburg and his canine companion Jake.

Cremation was chosen per his request. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date, the details will be announced when available.
