James Lee "Pappy" Cissell, Jr.

James Lee "Pappy"  Cissell Jr., 54, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Baptist Health East in Louisville. He was born in San Diego, CA.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Christopher Cissell, and a grandmother, Anna Belle Carlisle.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Hensley Cissell, a daughter, Carrie Cissell (Dennis Waddell) of Shepherdsville, KY., two sons, Cody Cissell (Samantha) of New Albany, and Christopher Cissell (Jada) of Westfield, IN., his mother, Rebecca Amick Cissell  of Jeffersonville, his father, James Cissell Sr. (Sue) of Clarksville, his grandmother, Norma L. Wright of Jeffersonville, and grandchildren, Jamie Marie Cissell, Elias Christopher Cissell, and Leonard Waddell.

Cremation was chosen per his request. A memorial service will be held at One Community Church, 1810 Blackiston Mill Road, Clarksville. Services have been postponed and will be rescheduled, details on services will be announced when they become available.
