Ione W (Wenning) Bartley

Ione W. Bartley, 94, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Jeffersonville and was a retired Insurance Department Clerk for General Electric. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary for Post 3281 and 1693 both in New Albany. She was a member of Howard Park Christian Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavore and Ruth Hume Wenning, her husband, Robert A. Bartley, a son, Charles A. "Butch" Shearer Jr., and a sister Judy McDonald.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Graston of Jeffersonville, a son, Nick Duran (Terry) of Clarksville, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and two special nephews, Scott McDonald (Marlene) and Shawn McDonald (Lisa).

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 4th 2021 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 1:00 prior to the service on Monday.
