Inez Roberts Obituary
Inez Roberts, age 82, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 7:10 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Charlestown Place.
She was born on June 3, 1943, in New Albany to the late Orville Roberts and Rosmary Langley Baker.
Inez was a retired employee of Bruce Fox Incorporated. She had a lifelong love for softball and was a proud member of the BPW softball team. During her playing years throughout the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, she earned recognition in the Indiana Women's Softball Hall of Fame. Softball was truly her passion. In her spare time she also greatly enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her siblings, Jack Roberts, Donna Bailey, Regina Edwards (Keith), Susan Turner (Mike), half-brother Billy Roberts and a half-sister Onita Roberts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda L Seiler.
Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana.
