Helen Frances (Green) Shelburne

Helen Green Shelburne, 98, of Newburgh, Indiana (formerly of Clarksville) passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Newburgh Health Care. She was born in Bardstown, Kentucky and retired from A&P. She was a long time, devoted member of Howard Park Christian Church in Clarksville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Winnie Crowe Green, her husband, William Shelburne, a daughter, Marla Shelburne, siblings, Lloyd Green, Virginia Magruder, and Gerald Green.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Shelburne (Jan) of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and a daughter Linda Price (James) of Newburgh, Indiana, three siblings, Norman Green, Pauline Nalley and Onita Moore (Tom), five grandchildren, Greg Shelburne (Merissa), Jennifer Uhrig, Jason Shelburne, Ken Price (Lisa) and Shannon Hudson (William), seven great-grandchildren, Hayden Uhrig, Alex Price, Will Hudson, Hotaru Kiper, Asuka Ichinose, Naoto Ichinose (deceased), Andre Ichinose and Kayla Ichinose

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.

The family requests that facial coverings be worn during all services.
