Hartsell Lloyd Strode

Hartsell Lloyd Strode, 83, died Friday, August 09, 2019 at the Masonic Home of Louisville. He was born in Mudlick, KY. and was a retired Truck Driver for the Courier Journal. He was a member of Jeffersonville Masonic Lodge #340 and the Tri-County Shrine Club. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Jennings Strode, and his parents, Willie E. and Nina Pearl Huff Strode and a brother, Harold Strode.

Survivors include his sons, Lester Strode of Elizabeth, IN. and Steven Dale Strode (Cathy) of Corydon, three grandsons, Aaron Strode (Brittney) of Elizabeth, Chris Strode (Michell) of Shepherdsville, and Cory Strode (Melanie) of Corydon, two great-grandchildren, Mailey & Chloe Strode, a sister, Rachel Garrett (Wayne) of Glasgow, KY and special friend Elizabeth Wolfe.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 7:00 on Monday, August 12, 2019. A Masonic Service will be held at 6:30 P.M., Monday.
