Clarksville: Gordon H. Clemons, 81, died Saturday May 7 at Riverbend Assisted Living in Jeffersonville. Gordon was an Army Veteran, a retired custodian for Clarksville Community Schools and a member of Colgate Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two granddaughters; Tyra Lynn Miller and Julie Michelle Clemons.
He is survived by his wife Nell Clemons of Jeffersonville, one daughter; Teresa Bell (William) of Indianapolis, one son; Ron Clemons (Linda) of Clarksville, one grandson; William Jordan Bell (Emily) and two great grandsons Kyle and Trevor Bell.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 13 at 11:00 AM at Chapman Funeral Home, burial will follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
