Gervis Gravely

Gervis Gravely, 83, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. He was born in Broadhead, KY., and was a Department Manager for Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jeffersonville and an Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Schlageter, a brother Bill Gravely and a sister Sharon VanArsdale.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Gravely (Tosha) of Clarksville, four grandsons, Baily Gravely,  Ethan Wellman, Ashton Wellman and Oliver Wellman, and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Myers (Jerry) of Scottsburg.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 23, 2023  at Chapman Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday and after 9:00 on Thursday at the funeral home.
