Elizabeth Allen Obituary
Elizabeth C. Allen, age 94, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at 6:35 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at The Springs at Stony Brook in Louisville.
She was born on December 22, 1931. to the late Fee Carpenter and Notie Speight Carpenter. One of twelve children, shje was known for her vibrant personality, love for life, and her desire to see others enjoy themselves. During the late 1950's, she owned and operated the Elizabethen club, a popular nightclub in downtown Louisville where she shared her passion for bringing people together.
Elizabeth cherished spending time with her family and friends and wil remembered for her warm spirit, generous heart, and the joy she brought to those around her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Riley and her eleven brothers and sisters.
In accordance with the family's wishes , cremation was chosen and al services wil be private.
Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, IN has been entrusted with the arrangements.
