Dorothy (Tuley) Theis

Dorothy Tuley Theis, 99, passed away on Tuesday, January 03, 2023 at Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Grandview, IN. She attended South Central High School in Evansville, she received her Masters in Cosmetology, she was a Kentucky Colonel and volunteered for 11 years at the Community Kitchen. She served the last year of her husband's term on the Clark County Council. Dorothy loved arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucy Bence Tuley, her husband, Robert Theis, a daughter Carol Clifton, a brother Victor Tuley.

Survivors include her grandchildren, David (Debbie) Wilson, Chris (Christi) Wilson, Dee (Steve) Carter, sister, Erma Jean Callis, Nick Wilson, Emily Wilson, Christopher Theis Wilson, Sydney Wilson, Elizabeth (Matt) Wallace, Steven (Corey) Carter, great great-grandchildren, Gavin Wilson, Izabella Briles, Ryleigh Carter, Mason Carter, Jaxon Wallace, Hunter Wallace, niece's, Debbie (Keith) Hennessey, Deena (Trent) Alexander, nephew, Daron (Ann) Callis, great-nephew, Kegan Hennessey and great-niece, Kasie (Matt) Stemle.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M.,  Friday, January 06, 2023 at Chapman Funeral Home with Entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
