Dolores M. Gannon, 85, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away at 9:33 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born on October 12, 1940, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to the late Arthur B. Brockman and Dorothy (Bacon) Brockman.
Dolores was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent many years as a sales representative for the Phoenix Republic newspaper prior to her retirement. She took great pride in her work and in the relationships she built throughout her career.
She is survived by her son, Ben Keibler (Angie); her grandson, Craig Keibler; her great-grandson, Collin Keibler; her sister, Sally Walsh (Dennis); nieces, Megan Walsh, Keelyn Walsh, and Kelsey Walsh; her nephew, Lance Stewart and his family; stepchildren, Riley Word and Deb Word and their families; and her best friend, June Morris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob Gannon; and her sister, Carol Carl.
In honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen. A private inurnment will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 W. Harrison Avenue, Clarksville, Indiana 47129
