Darin Wayne Matherly

Darin Wayne Matherly, age 57, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 5:05 PM on Friday, May 16, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.He was born on November 11, 1967, in New Albany, Indiana, to Clarence Reno Matherly and Karen Maureen Trobaugh Matherly.

Darin was a devoted family man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors, doing yard work, camping, and working on home projects. He also had a passion for cooking and tinkering with cars, but above all, he cherished every moment spent with his family.

Darin is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Robyn Matherly; his three children, Joshua Matherly, Madyson Matherly, and Gwendolyn Matherly; his mother, Karen Maureen Matherly; and his sisters, Janet Hardin and DaNell Williams.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Reno Matherly, and his sister, DeAnna Matherly.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM, at Chapman Funeral Home, 431 W. Harrison Ave., Clarksville, IN 47129.

Darin’s presence, laughter, and love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
