Charles Ogden Obituary

Charles Stephen Ogden, 75, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born in Jeffersonville and was a retired four color layout artist for Standard Gravure in Louisville. He was an Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post #35 in Jeffersonville, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1527 Jeffersonville, Knights of Columbus Council #1348 Jeffersonville, Louisville Thoroughbred Chorus, Motet Singers of Louisville, Clark County Conservation Club, and a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Jeffersonville. Steve was a very social person.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Erdman Ogden and Frances Nagel Ogden, and a brother David Nagel Ogden.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Riddle Ogden, three children, Meredith Kraft (Chris) of Clarksville, Charles Stephen "Chad" Ogden Jr. (Kimberlee) of Palmyra, and Elyse Ogden-McGill (Dennis) of Seymour, seven grandchildren, Jerrod Kraft (Allie) of Clarksville, Justice Kraft (Macy) of Floyd Knobs, Hannah McGill of Seymour, Brady Ogden of Palmyra, and Piper, Tillie and Luci all of Palmyra.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Utica Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday, from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Expressions of Sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
