Charles Edward Abbott

Charles Edward (Charley) Abbott, age 87, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Charles was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Charles W. Abbott and June Ruby Abbott. He was an Air Force Veteran, a retired surveyor and a bus driver for TARC.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Doris O’Bryant Abbott and stepmother Sovara (Sue) Abbott.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Milissa (Missy) DeSurne (Paul), his grandson, Thomas DeSurne, his sister, Cindy Hagan and brothers Larry L. Abbott and Donald Abbott (Suzanne).

Cremation was chosen and a private service was conducted. Arrangements have been entrusted to Chapman Funeral Home, 431 West Harrison Ave, Clarksville, IN
